Why I Haven’t Posted – What I’ve Been Doing – Income Pictures
THIS POST IS VERY IMPORTANT! I DON’T CARE IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME HERE: READ IT!
(You Should Enjoy It. The Words Are Words Not Spoken By Most Marketers.)
So… I haven’t posted in a few months.
Why?
Well, quite honestly a few reasons.
1) I’m extremely busy with making my own business prosper.
2) I’m tired of selling to other Internet marketers/make money people.
3) People looking to make money online can be real assholes.
4) I’ve decided I’d rather stay “out of the public eye.”
Let me go over these with a bit more detail.
1) The first thing… I’m extremely busy with my own business. Before I go into what that is, it is important to note that at one point I considered “Super Successful Secrets” part of my business. Now I just consider it a side venture for every once in a while mostly for myself. I don’t really care about making money from it anymore. That’s not to say that I won’t be ever updating it, but it is to say that I won’t be really actively pushing it anymore. There will be a whole new approach… a “not sale-sy” approach.
Now, on to what I AM spending my time on: making money by being a full-time affiliate marketer mostly through CPA. Now, because I know you all want them, here are a few screenshots of recent earnings.
That’s from 2 CPA networks from March. Some of the months since then haven’t been that good, and others have been better. If I get feedback, I’ll post more screenshots if you like.
Here is an important thing to take away from this, by the way… I AM NOW FOCUSED ON BEING TRANSPARENT, INSTEAD OF A MARKETER TO YOU.
What does that mean? Well, I’m not here to sell to you. I’m here just to talk about marketing shit. Yeah, that means I’ll talk the way I talk to my friends… I’m sorry if it offends you.
So anyway, I’m focused 100% on making at least 10k/mo by December 31st of this year strictly from CPA. (2009.)
BUT since I always give 110%, that 10% will be on at least keeping this updated as a little chill blog of what I’m up to and some cool stuff that will help you out.
That brings me to the next reason I’m not updating as much…
2) I’m tired of selling to the make money crowd/internet marketing. This goes along with why I just said before I’m not going to be “selling” to you guys anymore. I’m just your friend Avery who updates his blog with stuff that may or may not help you. If you’re interested in that, awesome, keep coming and you might learn something… if you’re not… I wish you the best success with wherever you go.
Anyway, the reason I’m tired of selling to the make money crowd is they are so damn annoying to sell to. You’ve gotta hype everything so damn much and beat so much skepticism… and everyone is SO PESSIMISTIC! Honestly, it’s just depressing! That brings me to the next point…
3) People looking to make money online can be real assholes. Some of you might be saying now… “WOAH AVERY! YOU JUST INSULTED YOUR AUDIENCE! NEVER DO THAT!” Well, that’s just another example of how I’m not selling to you anymore. I’m just your friendly neighborhood marketer who tells it like it is.
For every good email I get from someone, I get 10 from people saying either:
1) I’m a scammer.
2) I should be doing this for free because I already make money.
3) I’m a “f****** douche bag idiot who should die because you won’t give me the information for free.”
4) A random jumble of words that at one point in time was probably English, but now is lost to translation due to horrible spelling, grammar and punctuation. The only thing you CAN tell is that it was most likely insulting.
5) I’m a scammer… again.
You get the picture.
So, I don’t want to deal with it. Obviously the newbies are the people who most do this, but I suppose it’s a little hard to blame them. The media scares them so much and there are scammers out there giving honest folks a good name.
I do laugh however at the fact that most sites that look like scam sites to “normal people” (I.E. Not professional looking) are the honest sites by Joe who put together something really great that is worth it, and that the REAL scam sites often look the most professional. (Take a look at rip-off report for example… if you don’t know about the scam rip-off report is running, go look it up. Terrible.)
But on to the last point…
4) I’ve decided I’d rather be out of the public eye. For a while I was getting emails all the time about me… I’m in a book… I was well known across a few forums… YouTube following… etc.
I don’t like it. I get lots of unwanted attention. I don’t really want everyone and their dog knowing about me. I’d rather be an “underground guru,” so that’s what I’m going to become.
That’s why I’m making this post really. If you’re still reading this far, you now know why I’ve decided to do this, and how I am now. If you are still reading this far… wow… good job. I either wrote this post really well or you really care. Congrats for getting this far either way.
So there won’t be much more promotion on me. If you’re here or you find this, congrats. I suggest you might want to favorite the site and check back every once in a while. I guess what I’m trying to say is…
This site will be one of the few that will actually TELL IT LIKE IT IS. NO HYPE. NO BULLSHIT.
This is REAL information from a REAL marketer. Not fake info from some guru trying to mooch off you.
In conclusion, I have one more thing to say. You really can make lots of money online. If you think you will and don’t give up… well than you WILL be successful. No question.
Thanks for reading. You rock. I’ll talk to you soon.
-Avery

Are you for real? Lots of us guys are skeptical because we buy products from these “Gurus” and get little to no results.

Thank you Emanuel. It only took one comment for someone to prove what Avery was telling us. Thank you Emmanuel and people like you for costing us easy access to someone that has wisdom well beyond his years!
Emmanuel, if it’s so impossible to make money online, why waste your time posting a comment when you can be making REAL money by mowing lawns!!
Go for it !!! And don’t forget to trim the bushes.
Avery, some people will never get it. Thanks for the advise you’ve given us online in the last 8 months and good luck with your business ventures!
Now go make some ca$h ! ! !
Love ya,
Scotty B

Avery: good for you brother. I hear exactly what you are saying. I have been working with CPA networks for a few months and am making some decent money. My goal is also 10,000 per month by Christmas.
I have Favorited your blog.
Emmanuel: If you bought stuff from the guru’s and had no results exactly who is at fault? I have spent thousands of dollars on stuff from “guru’s” and gotten a little out of each one. The key is to get off your butt and do something.
These guys are NEVER going to give you their entire solution to marketing and you shouldn’t expect them to hold your hand.
Now for goodness sakes go and make some money will ya

I am checking averys stuff time in time, he is a good boy.
Many people buy some “guru” stuff but dont do the right things with it or, they buy something where are not any details at all..
I know that I id the same
You have to find the right people online, and finally you need a teacher.. not a sponsor.. and finally you gotto focus on one thing in a time..
check some stuff from eben pagan – its called wake up productive. its a great thing if you want to get somewhere with your online stuff.. first give out valuable info.. and after that people would have more from you.. than you can charge some money for that.
I dont care about some stuff like you are a scamer etc.. people who dont know a shit about online marketing and other thigns have many times really low knowledge in head..

Avery,
Whats up my dude?
I think you are great and for several reasons. For one, you are a young and enthusiastic (I mite have spent that wrong!) marketer and you are not afraid at all to just be YOU.
I admire that. Most people are to scared to just be themselves out of fear that their target audience will not except them as professional business people.
You have a unique approach to your marketing and it’s not because you brainstormed and came up with some AMAZING USP, it’s simply because you have NO PROBLEM being YOURSELF..
You are not scared of driving your audience away due to your transparent and straight up swagger when you communicate. I LOVE THAT!! Whoever sees value will stay and whoever doesn’t will go. And you could careless either way.
And you have a WEALTH of knowledge to give.
I first was attracted to you because you were a young entrepreneur like myself and you are a living and breathing example of how ANYBODY regardless of age and experience can earn an income online.
Overall Avery, I love what you do man and I completely understand why you decided to go underground.
Keep doing what you do my dude and I wish you continued success.
To your success and nothing less,
Seth Badu
P.S. F^@# the haters man. Keep doing your thing.

Good for you man, this is exactly what most people are really looking for. Everyone feels that they are being scammed but they cant help themselves and buy whatever is being sold anyways just because they are hopeful and would like to think that nobody would fool them. I got news for ya. Its like that offline too. Always has been and always will be. But when you make that conscience dicision that you have to be unlike all the rest, that is what gets peoples realistic side going. Again, stick with it man. In the long run we will all figure out that our first goal is the help people and the money will follow. Enough about that, i do have a question for you. What are you doing with CPA and how can I do what you do? Good Luck reaching your goals, Ryan.

avery,
great honesty man.
funny thing is the only reason i really dig listening/ reading
your stuff is precisely because you’re 19 and making money.
i figured you’d be honest,
because you’re still too young to consciously b.s. people.
i’m 42 now,
and i don’t b.s. anyone now.
but at 19 you couldn’t even tempt me to b.s. anyone.
will be loving this
cpa info.
keep it coming.

Funny that many people it is ok to buy things that don’t perform or don’t perform well.
So you would buy a car and not complain and not look for a better one?
Only this market of selling how to sell seems to be littered with people that make money not really performing. And people like Scotty B think it is ok not to say one word about it.
Not everyone is trying to make money re selling how to sell or is interested in affiliate coat tail selling. Those that really have niche markets are not told right up front that it will not monetize in every case on line.
Avery is welcome to go elitist and segment himself all he wants, just as those that voice their concerns about real performance are welcome. Anything less is just going along and wasn’t that just the same logic as South Africa?
In the end, everyone has to prove that what he sells or does works and is of calue. That’s why doctors just can’t state they have credentials they have to prove them. But here, just someone stating they know what will work is valid? Wake up and look at the system you are living in.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I’m glad to see that most people agree with me about most of the points and support the choice.
It’s pretty much me deciding that instead of dealing with beginners, I’m dealing with more intermediate (or at least more informed) marketers… and I’m doing it by just being totally real with what I say. There is WAY to much crap out there for you to lose your shirt with.
I’m also glad to see some people my age commenting. It’s all mindset… age doesn’t matter. As that famous “The New Yorker” comic says: “On the Internet, no one knows you’re a dog.”

I am in my 50s and a newbie at internet marketing. I have fallen into the trap. I first thought it was easy, but learned very quickly that there is no shortcut!
The problem you have with the entitlement crowd is not unique to you. I have been reading from well over 100 gurus this last 9 months and many of them have addressed that same issue in different ways.
You do not owe me the time of day. I recognize and accept that. However, I have spent my last dollar with any guru until earn enough from the net to spend it. I am looking for whatever I can find for free that will help me reach my objective, and your site looks promising.
That being said, I am not asking for anything from you. You are voluntarily posting information that may help, and when it does, I will hope to repay you by buying into your service when the time comes.
I want to say thank you for your contributions and to wish you, as well as those who glean from your blog, the best in their IM businesses. I will be monitoring your blog, and if possible, contributing something along the way.
Thank you

Oh yeah I totally agree with her! LMAO! But I agree with all of these people. Listen I have been following your old videos and they seem to be out of date. So I suggest more videos Avery!
You go Mr.Good-looking!

Avery,
I like your approach… your young, and have a long ways to go in your online career, and I’m sure you will do well in the future. Hell, your doing better than I am, but I’m 29, and been at it for only a couple years…
Keep up the good work, and I look forward to hearing about what your up to.
Remember, image is everything these days, my own fiance wouldn’t buy from me because she hates long for sales letters and finds them to be unprofessional… (but I caught her buying from some!)…
Bottom line, whether you are selling as an affiliate, or your own products and services, your audience needs to know, like, and trust you, so make sure you make that happen… then the customers (and your success) will come to you.
Your on the right track!
