Real Ways To Make Money Online From A Teen

I’ve been working nonstop the past few weeks on a few things… and here they are.

1) In case you haven’t heard, many people have reported that Clickbank has been having tracking issues and sales have been down. Now, as a warning, this should NOT DISCOURAGE you to keep using them if that is all you have access to. They are still great, but I’d look into using PayDotCom and other programs as well if you rely on affiliate programs.

That being said, I’ve completely taken off my reliance on them. I now use 1ShoppingCart and my own merchant account so I can accept credit cards directly. I do NOT recommend this approach at first. I only recommend this if you know you are going to be pulling in many sales from your own products.

2) I’ve also been secretly working on a brand new membership site that is perfect for anyone trying to make money online. It has interviews with people making money, money making methods, videos and more. I suggest you check it out here right now.

3) I’ve ALSO bought the rights to an absolutely AMAZING product that I myself bought and used. I contacted them personally for the rights to the product so I can pass it along to my subscribers for much cheaper than you’ll find anywhere else. Now, I need to recoup my costs for buying it and I do plan on making some money off of it (I bought it because I knew people wouldn’t be able to resist it because it’s so good) but you will find it from me cheaper than you will find anywhere else.

These pages are very “clean,” and look great. This is what you want to model your pages after!

The squeeze page (where I capture name’s and emails) is actually a “reverse squeeze page,” or a squeeze page that gives information FIRST, and THEN asks people to sign up. It’s great to show that you know what you’re talking about and customers don’t have to sign up and hope they didn’t just get screwed over… plus it builds credibility!

If you have a site or are building one, feel free to look at those and “borrow” the layout ideas.

So October 3rd was my birthday, and I’m 19 now.

It feels very weird. I don’t feel any different.. however, I no longer can use the whole “make money like an 18 year old!” thing… I suppose 19 is good too, but it doesn’t sound as amazing.

Reflecting, I feel very fortunate to be so young and to have already found out what I like to do out of life. I am really just a marketer, and I use the Internet as my means of marketing.

I sort of feel like I’m going through a mid-life crisis already though. I feel like I need to make more money than I already am, and I feel like I have to manage everything. I don’t know why, but at times it’s overwhelming even when I know I’ve really got it more or less under control and made.

Either way, here’s to my very last teen year… god I feel old.

So I just wanted to throw a little reminder in here for everyone who isn’t doing it yet… START DOING VIDEO.

I honestly don’t care how scared you are of getting in front of the camera, how ugly you think you are, how bad your voice sounds… it doesn’t matter.

Youtube and other video sites (as well as just using video on your pages) is so incredibly powerful it’s not worth it to be self-concious. Besides, I’m sure you’re a handsome/beautiful, smart individual anyway… you’re reading my blog!

BUT I just learned that Youtube will be launching some sort of “Buy It” feature on their videos… I have no idea how it will work yet, but if it says anything, it says GET INTO VIDEO.

Trust me, I was scared when I first started, but now it’s just so natural and it’s fun!

Getting a camera is very cheap, you can pick a great one up for under $100, and then you’re off!

Get on it.

Hey what’s up guys?

Quick post today about something not directly related, but still pretty cool.

Have you ever heard of “Dragon Naturally Speaking?” It’s a really cool text-to-speech program that will take whatever you say into your microphone and type it for you.

I just got it and I have to say it’s pretty damn awesome.

I’m talking about it here because.. well.. think about how much EASIER it will be to write articles when you can just talk into your mic instead of typing out article after article.

All I do now is bring up an article, speak it into my own words, and in a few minutes I’ve got a unique article to do whatever I want with.. cha-ching!

So I know that most people who are online in the beginning start out with article marketing straight to blogs which promote an affiliate product… that’s great. It can work like a charm.

However, some people never see a sale and they just get frustrated, and eventually, they give up. That’s a terrible thing when there’s so much money to be made for everyone!

That’s why I’ve decided to share a resource I used in the very beginning that is almost guaranteed money. Granted, it’s not a lot, but it certainly proves that money can be made on the internet, and it certainly can give you a little boost when you’ve got nothing.

Associated Content is an article directory site that takes things to a different approach.

They will actually pay you per unique article, and they actually pay a pretty decent amount.

So now instead of writing article after article promoting your blog and only getting a handful of views, you can just write your article, get paid for it, and write another.

NOTE: This is a great way to get your feet wet, but I wouldn’t consider it a business. The real money is to be made when you actually have a website running and you have traffic coming to it from whatever methods you employ, article marketing being a good one. But this sure is a good way to get someone who has never seen any money online making something! So go test it out!

I also know people shell over money to cloaker scripts and the like in their fear when they really don’t have to… at all.
